Many follow Jesus to the breaking of bread but few followed when it's time to drink the chalice of passion - saving us from sin. Many venerate Him for miracles performed but few take up their cross and let Jesus carry it alone.
Doesn't it sound like many love Jesus in time of prosperity and stay away when face with adversity? Is it like praising Him and adoring Him when we receive consolation and distant our self when wishes were not granted even if it meant He loved us, so as to keep us from harm?
God is love, trust in Him like the way Mother Mary trusted His words even if it is impossible to understand.
